If you like the Grand Theft Auto series, you must have heard that Rockstar, the developers of Grand Theft Auto series, have already released Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. But a surprise news came when Rockstar announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be released on Next Gen (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and PC console this fall. If you are like me, a crazy fan of the grand theft auto series, you probably already have the game on the current gen, and if you don't have it already, you should not buy it until its released on Next-Gen consoles, and here is why:
1.Graphics
One thing that makes video games more desirable than 10 or 15 years ago is the graphics. Today, each company shows off its talents by bringing out better looking game than its previous games. The Grand Theft Auto series is not out of the race this year. Looking at the already released trailer, we can see major improvements in graphics such as more details to the water, additional grass added, toned textures for the protagonist's, improve under water blur, and additional sun flare affects. Those are just the things the we know from the trailer.

2. Realism
With the improved graphics, Rockstar has also added major improvements to the realism, according to the trailer. There will be more traffic on the streets, more animals in the mountains, and more pedestrians in should-be populated areas such as the beaches and the streets of Hollywood.
3. Technical
I am very glad to say this, but there will be no more lag in Grand Theft Auto V! The multiple explosions on the streets of Los Santos really created some disturbing frame drops that sometimes took away the immersion and realism from the gameplay. With at least 60 frames per second on the most common situations in-game and cut scenes, shoot-outs and combat should be slick and smooth.
4. Date Transfer
People who already own Grand Theft Auto V and have played Grand Theft Auto Online will have their online stats and data transferred from Current Gen consoles to Next-Gen consoles. Yes! All my efforts to keep my kill-to-death ration above 1.60 will be available for me in Grand Theft Auto V next gen since day one.
5. Grand Theft Auto Online
All the technical and graphical improvements will be available in Grand Theft Auto Online. There are no concrete information released by Rockstar yet, but it is possible that there will be more players (possible 32 players) in every lobby on next-gen. Character customization, apartment optimizations, and more mini-games in GTA:O will only make the game more addicting and fun.
I cannot wait for the Fall season!
